Welcome to my personal corner of the marvel that is the Internet. What you’ll find here is all  things relating to Warhammer 40k, modelling, painting and playing.

Like most of my generation, I started as a kid making model planes and tanks, then inspired by Lord of the Rings (the book not the movie) I started collecting metal fantasy figures from Ral Partha (remember them) and Citadel Minatures. Thirty Three years later I’m still doing it. When Warhammer 40k came out I concentrated on collecting figures I liked from that range. However, I never played the game I was never interested. The pleasure I got was from collecting and painting, until recently when my son showed an interest. Since then I’ve played a few games with him and we’ve enjoyed ourselves. Hence this blog, which is cataloging my journey from collecting any model I liked, to building proper armies for wargaming purposes.
